Eleanor McCain is thrilled to announce the release of her third CD. Produced and arranged by respected musician and producer, Brigham Phillips, the collection of traditional Celtic ballads is a sentimental tribute to her Maritime roots. Listeners will enjoy the assortment of soothing ballads comprised of Eleanor's favourite songs including the acclaimed Tim Thorney/Erica Ehm song, Green Hills of Home; Song for the Mira and other songs by noted Maritime songwriter Allister MacGillivray; Ready For the Storm by Dougie MacLean - one of Scotland's most respected and successful musicians; and many other classic and renowned Celtic ballads.

Switching gears from Bundle of Joy, in which she celebrated the joys and intimacy of motherhood, her latest CD allows Eleanor to showcase her unique style - a fusion of classic, celtic, folk, ballad and pop - and celebrate her Irish and Scottish ancestry.

In making this CD, Eleanor feels she is 'coming home' to her beloved Maritimes and her cherished childhood memories where her love of music was born. Those sentiments are expressed through the warmth and the intimacy of the beloved Celtic ballads that are sure to touch others as much as they have touched Eleanor.
